Screws for TCC installations
For approved TCC ceilings conforming to the ETA, Elascon will supply appropriate shear connectors. The bar-shaped Elascon shear connectors are screws which have been specially developed for use with timber-concrete composites (TCC); they have an anti- corrosion coating which also distinctly reduces the necessary tightening torque. This makes installation easier and prevents connector break-off:

Cam for timber-concrete composites
The»HyNo« (Hybrid-Cam) is a patented steel cylinder (conforming to EN 10217-1); it is filled with high-strength cement mortar (conforming to EN 1504-6) and - after pre-drilling a receiving bore with the special cutting bit supplied - is pressed vertically into the timber components. The shear resistance of the HyNo cams is more than twice that of the screwed SFix1 shear connector with the highest shear resistance on the market (as in 2019).
ElascoLoft levelling and impact sound reduction
Elascoloft is an ultra-light concrete; it contains specially reprocessed lightweight polystyrene as used in the sound insulation materials industry.
The density of this material can be adjusted in 20 kg/m3 steps to suit the component and can therefore be matched exactly to requirements. Hence it is eminently suitable for numerous applications, in particular for levelling purposes. With its minimum specific weight of 110 kg/m3 the material also offers optimum impact sound decoupling properties.
ElascoLoop impact sound matting
Employing the principle of dynamic stiffness, the ElascoLoop »pocket spring mattress structure« is particularly effective in the low frequency range. ElascoLoop is the perfect complement for Timber Concrete Composites. Used together with the concrete slab, sound reduction is obtained over the entire range of potential interference frequencies.
ElascoMetals
Adding steel fibres has a positive effect on flexural strength and shear strength, and on crack and deformation behaviour of concrete. ElascoMetals may be used as a replacement for conventional reinforcement bars or matting, where installation of such matting is simply impossible because of local conditions.
ElascoCure 3in1
ElascoCure 3in1 is an acrylate dispersion which is used as intermediate and post-treatment / evaporation protection agent / levelling compound, and as a general finishing agent. It counteracts premature drying out of the concrete surface. It is applied/sprayed onto horizontal concrete surfaces as
- intermediate post-treatment: immediately after compacting
- levelling aid: during the levelling process
- final post treatment: immediately after completion of the last levelling operation.
Elascon FixUK-H
Fix UK mounting system for Timber Facing. Elascon FixUK-H is used to mount sound insulation and supports for facing elements or plaster board - even on top of existing layers of insulation. Elascon FixUK-H ensures a positive, friction-locked connection with the wall Any risk of existing coatings shearing off under the loading imposed by the new insulation is reliably excluded.
