Being well prepared avoids delays on site

Before the work actually starts, it is necessary to verify that all preliminary work, in particular any timber preservation work has been completed. All beam ends must be intact, and at every level change continued load bearing capacity must be assured. It is also essential that there are no gaps in the shuttering, and that it sits squarely on the beam without any gap and is securely attached ready for the insertion of the shear connectors.
