The demand for complete solutions involving construction and/or refurbishment of timber-beamed ceilings using the Timber-Concrete Composite System (TCC) has led us to set-up a separate company that offers a comprehensive service bundle covering both planning and construction work services. This company will also be able to handle the increasing customer service demands and makes us more accessible to our customers.
Elascon GmbH was founded in 2010 with seat in Waldkirch, Germany. Elascon is currently the leading provider of a comprehensive rehabilitation service for timber-beamed ceilings. Elascon employs the latest designs of shear connectors. These are available in an economically optimised range of sizes. Elascon will act as a single source provider who will provide its customers with all necessary calculations and construction services, at a fixed price, throughout its operating territory.
Our system is fully licensed by the requisite construction supervisory authorities. In many cases we have been able to develop specific solutions and products to facilitate the successful completion of complex supporting structures. In this way, a very comprehensive product range has been developed over many years, and many of these are now offered commercially.
In addition, we co-operate with several European Universities on research projects in the field of timber - composite supporting structures; we also assist male and female civil engineers both during their studies and in the preparation of their dissertations.
