What needs to be done, when and where?
Before construction work is started, it is always wise to carry out a local inspection tour with your building partner and to discuss the most important points by reference to a checklist. This will make it possible to minimise both the building time and the cost of building.
The following questions in particular should be resolved:
How long is the concrete pumping route, and what is its highest point? This affects the adjustment of the spreading rate of the concrete.
Which opening is to be used for the insertion of any reinforcement?
Is it possible to employ matting, or is it necessary to make up the basic reinforcement from bar steel?
Could it become necessary to resort to a reinforcement containing Elasco-Metal steel fibres?
Even if you do are doing the work, please keep in touch with us! We will assist you at throughout the construction period, either by telephone, or directly on site.
