In addition to EC 5 »Design and construction of timber structures«, the HBV shall be standardised. In preparation for this, several research institutions in Europe are currently working on a technical specification.

A completely redefined calculation engine and an Internet-based updating system enable the planner to stay up- to- date.
We also provide pre-set templates to help those of our colleagues who are less frequently called on to determine the size and scale of elastic composite supporting structures.
Here we have emphasised the ergonomics in particular.
The help feature tells you exactly what you have to do, or where the requisite values for stability of the structure are being exceeded.
As a companion to our software, we have written a specialist manual which provides for better appreciation of the features of an elastic composite supporting structure.
