Reinforcement matting, bars or fibre may be used to ensure the best result
In accordance with the approval conditions, a surface reinforcement must be installed in the concrete. The matting steel must be of the minimum quality grade of Q 188. As an alternative, if space is at a premium, the basic reinforcement may also be replaced with bar stock or steel fibres added to the concrete recipe.
If bar steel is used for reinforcement, we have access to a knotter tailored to our requirements; it is the result of a partnership development jointly with Kyocera. We do not employ manual knotting and use an automatic looping procedure. This saves much time on site.
For easy introduction of steel fibres were required, we have developed a pneumatic delivery system jointly with a steel fibre producer; this system ensures homogeneous distribution, despite the special fibre geometry. The decisive tip for the prevention of accumulations and lump formation during the pumping operation was given to us by the development engineer of a well-known Muesli manufacturer.
