1. C-TC-S: Composite Timber-Concrete »Standard«
Single of multi-field supporting systems. Here the composite design is implemented above the timber beams. Where the old shuttering is intact and the timber beams have not suffered any damage, and where the false ceiling is packed with a sound deadening compound, the old floorboards may also be used as lost formwork. The minimum concrete layer thickness is 6 cm.

2. C-TC-F: Composite Timber-Concrete »Flat Ceiling«
Here the concrete-timber composite structure is implemented in the intermediate area at the level of the lost floor. From the upper edge of the timber beam downwards at least 6 cm height is needed. Die SFix-shear connectors are screwed laterally into the beams. The Elascon floor surface C 25/30 F 6,5 G 8 LVB is then scraped field-by-field so as to finish level with the upper edge of the beam. It is necessary to check that the old lost floor shuttering is capable of supporting the weight of the freshly poured concrete which amounts to 150 kg per square metre.

3. C-TC-Combination: Composite Timber-Concrete »combination ceiling«
Basically, this solution is a combination of a C-TC system and a C-TC composite. Here the Elascon floor concrete is poured both into the space between the timber beams and over the beams themselves. The shear connectors are then set to match the geometry of the room and are therefore effective both downwards - into the lost floor area, and upwards - into the compression zone. To prevent the concrete from breaking away again in longitudinal beam axis direction, a thickness of at last 4 cm cover is needed above the beam, and in addition, a reinforcement layer is used to limit fissuring.
