DIN EN 13670/DIN 1045-3 [3] stipulates concrete post treatment of the concrete for the first few days of curing of the cement paste as described in Section 8.5. The reasons are minimisation of shrinkage, to ensure the development of adequate strength, the durability of the concrete edge zone, and the protection of the concrete from adverse weather effects.
To meet these requirements as far as at all possible, Elascon uses ElascoCure 3-in-1 Acrylic Dispersant for intermediate post-treatment, as a smoothing agent and for after-treatment. We offer a spray applicator that can be worn as a backpack.
According to a study by the TU Darmstadt, ElasCure 3in1, when applied to the reinforcement, does not produce any detrimental effect on the composite shear resistance or on the subsequent coating (e.g., OS 8).
