Easycon facilitates the calculation of ceiling supporting structures in terms of statics and vibration. It also permits accurate calculation of any necessary concrete covering and of the necessary number of shear connectors. The software produces a reproducible result in the form of auditable statics.
When Easycon was developed, the emphasis was on a simple, menu-driven approach and simple data input with easy calculating sequences and readily verifiable results.
With the incorporation of Easycon into the commonly used static calculation programs, Elascon makes access easy for the less experienced operator who needs to validate elastic supporting structure links. Easycon – its name describes the program – requires neither expensive basic software, nor any time-consuming training.
The latest model for the calculation of single span girders for use in timber-concrete structures takes into consideration the new timber construction standard DIN 1052, the concrete standard 1045 and Eurocode EC/SIA. The program provides a verifiable static proof of supporting capacity.
