As a matter of principle, according to the approval conditions, the concrete must be provided with reinforcement. The material used must meet the minimum standard Q 131. As an alternative, when space is limited, the reinforcement may also be in the form of bar steel or steel fibre which is added to the concrete recipe. Together with a manufacturer of steel fibre, we have developed a special injection system which permits homogeneous distribution; it involves the use of steel fibres with a special geometry. The decisive tip about the way the fibre geometry should look in order to prevent formation of lumps and accumulations during the pumping operation came from a development engineer of a well know manufacturer of Muesli.
If bar steel is to be used for the basic reinforcement, we can provide a special binding tool developed in partnership with Kyocera that is tailored to our specific requirements. We don't bind by hand - the loping process is automated.
